Kick Back

I went to visit UC Santa Barbara with my brother and mom last weekend. It was my 1st time going to Santa Barbara. The town is quiet small and not so crowded compared to LA. It has beautiful beaches. But, somehow my heart still belongs to LA no matter what :) Hollywood town and the city of entertainment !
Here are some quick snap shots that my brother and mom helped me took, while kicking back at Santa Barbara...

This beautiful blue fur is on sale! How sweet to resist! I bought two , one for me and one for my mom , but then my mom doesn't seem to like it so I'll have to return one LOL
I felt so happy knowing that I haven't been to ZARA for a month because of busy working. Today I spent a day chilling out with my friend at Old Town Pasadena and got some pretty new stuffs to add to my wardrobe :) Can't wait to move into a new house with a bigger closet! My closet now is soooo FULL :(

Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall Collection 2012

Even though his presence is no longer with us, Mr. McQueen left us his extravagant legacy in fashion world.
"From the poetic ball dress to the more practical hourglass tunic over narrow pants, the collection is essentially an essay on that one shape" Sarah Mower.

Fully loaded skirt starting from mid- waist , embodied with velvet- dark colors, and inspired by Renaissance and Victorian art of the 50s, Sarah Burton expanded another masterpiece of collections from McQueen's legacy.

Country's Sweetheart, Taylor Swift poses for Vogue US

The single country's sweetheart, Taylor Swift, poses for the cover of Vogue US February edition. This is her first time posing for Vogue cover, despite her well-known face in any other magazines and posters. Bet TSWIFT fans (which mostly teen girls) will get excited to see her posing for Vogue. I am!
Photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Tonne Goodman, the country singer wears a bohemian style outfits to match her persona.

Interesting story: Taylor Swift was asked whether she wanted to pose with her bangs on. After several thoughts and discussions with the photographer, she finally agreed on cutting her bangs to cover for Vogue.

"The fact that Swift is supermodel thin, towers over everyone (at five feet ten she clocks in at well over six feet in platform Miu Mius), and has skin as pale as a gold-rush bride’s—well, let’s just say she falls somewhere on the continuum from fetching to dazzling" Vogue

Blonde Ambition
"I don't ever want to be that person whose self-image overtakes who they are" -Taylor Swift.
