Katy Perry benefits a cancer-survival org by bringing PRISM alive on stage at Hollywood Bowl

Last night was such a magical night with Katy Perry. The born and raised Santa Barbara singer rocked the stage with some of her A-list friends benefiting the breast cancer awareness month. The #WeCanSurvive concert proceed goes to Young Survival Coalition, an organization with purpose in beating and preventing cancer! Such a great cause for buying this concert ticket. Not only that, it was my first time watching a concert at Hollywood Bowl, an outdoor scene, where I am not really used to the cold now during Fall season. I have always getting used to watch numerous concerts at LA Staples or Nokia Theater, but not Hollywood Bowl. 

The guest stars who were performing on stage last night include; Ellie Goulding, Sara Bareilles, Tegan and Sara and Kacey Musgraves.

Moreover, before the big performances of all the stars, I got a VIP soundcheck and exclusive Q&A session with Katy Perry herself! NONE other! Again, CITI did a great job and of course, AMP Radio for creating this event. It was really a memorable concert and event for me. I stayed there for half days, but I can say I am satisfied with everything along with the VIP museum patio check in where all of us VIPS can take a break and get refreshed with free hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic served. 

Here are some of the videos I took during the VIP soundcheck with Katy Perry. There weren't too many audience, which was really cool because even Katy herself liked the atmosphere of it and said it was definitely exclusive and a cool soundcheck event.  

 

She surprised us with fireworks flowing on the beautiful night sky, while performing "FIREWORKS."

At last, Katy surprised us again by bringing back all her friends who performed that night to end the show by singing "ROAR."

Katy's newest album, PRISM, is already out on Oct. 22, 2013. This time, I feel like her latest album is more spiritual because of her deep lyrics shown throughout her songs.

Fresh off the runway , fresh off , fresh offff..... That's what Rihanna a.k.a Riri is trying to accomplish recently. "I express myself in music , and I express myself in fashion," said the singer who appeared hot  in a red long dress along with her red lipstick at the Grammys 2013. What can I say, I am having a girl crush at the moment with Riri! She seems to know where she's headed after her famously disturbing break up last time with Chris Brown. But we know that they have been spotted cozily hanging out a lot recently while on and off camera, captured by paparazzi or noticed by Instragam fans.
 
River Island, London fashion brand, is collaborating with Rihanna to bring out clothes fresh off the runway! Fans who want to dress like Riri can now get their hands on the collection, which has launched since 2 weeks ago. Some of the items are already out of stock, and the pieces are available in  New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and online stores. 

This is Riri's first fashion collaboration with River Island, detailing her 7 most iconic outfits or might we say "RIHtrospective" look. "In the past seven years, Rihanna has released seven studio albums, won seven Grammy awards, and flown around the world on a Boeing 777 for her 777 tour." Seems like this is a good year for Riri to shine bright like a diamond !!

40th Anniversary American Music Awards -2012 Live at Nokia Theater

A quick post before I crash the bed... I got the chance to go see The 40th Anniversary of American Music Award !!! :) Last year I had the chance to sit near the top pop stars sitting on front rows, watching them chatting to one another with their fellow stars, and walking down the aisle with their beautiful gowns or suits receiving awards... This year is a bit different ! Justin Bieber came with another date, which is not Selena Gomez, but his own mom! :) Isn't that sweet??! He does not wear a suit, but a cool black outfit with his red high top sneakers! He rocked the night out! He won 3 awards, defeating any other artists. Last year was Katy Perry, winning 5 categories in 1 award on 1 night .. Amazing!... Talking about Selena Gomez’s bestie,… Taylor Swift amazed me in her performance tonight ! She was rocking the stage like a rock star J Compared to her all time favorite soft performances, I like her with a lil bit of wild side I might say … Nicki Minaj, unique as usual, receive 2 awards… Well I can tell you more in depth story about tonight’s show, but I’ll let you see and read the info tomorrow morning on TV or any news media J After all, pictures worth a thousand words right??
